Strategic Planning and Quality Assurance

Strategic Planning and Quality Assurance is a supportive unit of the Rectorate, reporting to the Director of Administration. Its main functions are the coordination of

• operations management and quality management
• the University Centres of Lahti and Mikkeli.

In addition, the unit supports the Rectorate in organising cooperation with other universities and polytechnics, with actors in the regions where the University has operations, and with research institutes in different sectors.

The Strategic Planning and Quality Assurance unit is responsible for the preparation, introduction and conducting of affairs falling under the authority of the Board and the executive group of the University.

The coordination units of the University Centres are responsible for developing and coordinating the cooperation between the units belonging to the centres.
