Accommodation in Helsinki

Mobility scholarships are available for doctoral students and young researchers (within five years after obtained Ph.D. degree) registered at a Nordic or Baltic (Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania) university, or at a university in NW Russia. Helsinki Summer Seminar participants are kindly asked to make their own arrangements for accommodation. Please book your accommodation as soon as possible, as several events occur in Helsinki in August so availability may be limited.

Erik Castrén Institute has reserved a quota from the Hostel Academica for 10 single (62€/night) and 10 double (72€/night) room. All reservations and inquiries directly to the hostel. Remember to mention quota "Erik Castrén Institute" when you book! Consider also sharing a room with a fellow participant and ask the hostel for advise.
