Legal aid from Law Students Association

The committee for legal help of the Law Students Association (Pykälä ry) offers legal aid for students. Aid and advice are available to University degree students by mail, e-mail and telephone as well as a face-to-face service. The aid is free of charge for University students. Equality Committee and Adviser

The Equality Committee of the University works under the leadership of the Vice Rector and consists of representatives of various personnel and student groups. The Committee is responsible for monitoring and promoting equality within the University in cooperation with the Equality Adviser.

The Equality Adviser gives counselling and advice, disseminates information and provides training in equality issues.

Contact persons in equality issues

The University has a comprehensive network of equality contact persons who distribute information about equality issues in their own sphere of responsibility. These contact persons can refer people in need of assistance or advice to the Equality Adviser, the Labour Protection Officer or the employee representatives.

Student Union equality services

The Student Union's (HYY) the contact person in equality issues is the Secretary of Social Affairs. In cases of harrassment, the Student Union has an e-mail service for advice and consultation. Read more on the Student Union's Web site.
