New International Students in Autumn 2013

The Dean of the Faculty of Social Sciences decided to accept 75 new students to study for the Master's programmes of the Faculty on 5 April 2013. The newly accepted students will start their studies in Autumn 2013.

The competition was hard as 686 applicants submitted their applications to the programmes of the Faculty, and app. 11 % of them were accepted. We congratulate the admitted students!

New Session on Cultural Competence at the Welcome Fair

A session on cultural competence will be held on 9 January from 3 pm to 4 pm at the Welcome Fair (Language Centre). Further information is included in the the Orientation programme for incoming exchange students.

Orientation Programmes for Spring 2013

The Orientation Programmes for incoming exchange students has been updated and can be found here. Also, each student is assigned a student tutor who helps the new student to get started with his/her studies.

Large Number of Exchange Students in Autumn 2012

Some 160 exchange and visiting students start their studies at the Faculty of Social Sciences in Autumn 2012. The number is higher than ever before! We wish to make each and everyone of them welcome to the Faculty!
