Christina Institute promotes women's studies, coordinates and administers relevant instruction, encourages women's studies by providing premises and equipment for researchers, maintains contacts with other institutes for women's studies, and distributes information on women's studies. Christina Institute also offers an English Programme for Women's Studies as an interdisciplinary Master's level programme seeking to introduce international students to the women's situation and the gender system in Finland and the Nordic countries. The programme offers also a study block on the gender system in the Baltic countries and Russia.

The Department of sociology offers a course in Scandinavian Sociology for guest students. The course aims to provide an introduction to sociological research in Scandinavia. EQUIPE SIMONE - Conceptualisation et communication de la recherche / femmes

 The Equipe Simone is an interdisciplinary teaching and research centre at the University of Toulouse-Le Mirail. It is specialised in work on women and gender relations. The Equipe Simone coordinates a programme of courses at different levels of the University and runs (in collaboration with the Sociology Department) a 1 year applied post-graduate course in Gender and Social Policy.
The Equipe Simone takes an active role in a series of national and international research and scientific exchange programmes. We also run a specialised library and documentation centre on women and gender and organise regular conferences and research seminars.

Registration

The European Module counts towards a Degree in any subject at the University of Toulouse-Le Mirail [10 ECTS credits]. The code EUR 310 enables 3rd year students to sign up for the course, which is also available through the distant learning Department of the University.
