The cover of SAAS 3, as on all SAAS volumes, is a representation of the two scribes, one writing with ink on parchment and the other writing on clay with a stylus, based on the wall paintings in the palace at Til Barsip (time of Tiglath-Pileser III [744-727 BC] or slightly earlier).
