Our group is interested in the effects of sleep loss on the brain, in the cellular and molecular mechanisms taking place during sleep and restoring brain function during sleep, in the basic mechanisms underlying some clinical sleep disturbances, and in the bidirectional interplay of the brain and the peripheral systems in sleep and sleep loss.
