12.00 - 12.30 Presentation of the school restaurant Thyme, Tampere
Rudolf Steiner´s school restaurant Thyme is a model of co-operative self-sufficiency. Over 50 % of the food served in the restaurant is organic and the members of the co-operative comprise the restaurant´s staff, school teachers and students´ parents. We will learn more about the activities of the co-operative.

13.15 - 14.15 Bustrip to Nuutajärvi Gallery co-operative NUGO
During the trip we will hear two presentations of co-operatives in Pirkanmaa region.
14.30 - 15.00 Presentation of the NUGO
Nuutajärvi glassvillage glassart artisans combined sales and marketing co-operative. It demontstrates the power of joint co-operation between enterprises. We will hear presentation about the activities of the NUGO and we will have an opportunity to make shoppings in the Glassgallery.
15.00 - 16.00 Coffee in Nuutajärvi and possibility to make some shoppings
16.00 - 16.45 Bustrip back to Tampere
During the trip we will hear about the Culture Co-operative Uulu and we will also have possibility to produce some music with Uulu.
17.00 - 17.45 Visiting the Co-operatives in ProAcademi
Business economics orientated students at Tampere University of applied sciences have established a wide range of co-operatives as a part of their studies at the university. Team entrepreneurship offers an excellent opportunity to both study and business. The co-operative as a means of entrepreneurlial education is experiencing significant growth all over Finland.

Programme for accompanying persons
Accompanying persons can attend to all conference lunches, coffee breaks and evening programs as well as to optional walking excursion in the city of Mikkeli.
On Friday 26th August we offer the companions also a guided city tour in Mikkeli by "city train Mikke". The tour starts from MUC Campus (address: Lönnrotinkatu 7) at 10.00. The city tour lasts 1,5 hours and ends to Mikkeli Cathedral (in the neighbourhood of MUC Campus). The guidance is in English.
Please note that the accompanying person must sign in to different events while filling in the registration form.
