More information about the courses in English in the study programme 2009-2010. The following courses will be arranged during the study year 2009-2010:
LUOMU3 Literature for Basic Studies in Organic Food and Farming, 1-6 credits
LUOMU5 Organic Quality, 8 cr
LUOMU6 Organic Food Systems not arranged in 2009-2010; in 2009-2010 the course is replaced by AEKO501 Sustainability in Agri-Food Systems, 5-10 cr
LUOMU7 Case Study, 8 cr
LUOMU8 Literature for Intermediate Studies in Organic Food and Farming, 3-9 cr
LUOMU10 Study Projects in Organic Food and Farming, 2-8 cr
NOTE! Contact teaching periods that include expert lectures and visits to enterprises and farms are offered mostly in Mikkeli (about 250 km north-east of Helsinki).
You are warmly welcome to participate in the studies of organic food and farming in case you already have some work or study experience in organic food and farming!
Through the Eco Studies international co-operation you can study:
- BSc (Bachelor of Science) –courses in organic food and farming through the ENOAT (the European Network of Organic Agriculture University Teachers) -network.
- MSc (Master of Science) –courses in organic food and farming and agroecology through the AGROASIS – NOVA-network.
