The LBO benefits from a comprehensive installation to perform state-of-the art cell and molecular biology either directly or by using core facilities at the EPFL.

The lab is also completely equipped to perform mechanical testing on soft and hard biological tissues.
In vivo facilities and in vivo imaging tools complete the facilities that the LBO has.
