National centres of excellence in education

The quality of the teaching provided by faculties and departments is also monitored on the national level by the Ministry of Education and its evaluation of undergraduate and postgraduate education.  The selection of national centres of excellence in education is coordinated by the Finnish Higher Education Evaluation Council (FINHEEC).
