Studying psychology
There are two major subjects: psychology and cognitive science. It is possible to take the following degrees: Bachelor of Arts, Master of Arts, Master of Arts (Psychology), Licenciate of Philosophy, Licenciate of Psychology, Doctor of Philosophy, Doctor of Psychology. The Bachelor and the Master degree programmes can be completed only in the Finnish language. Some instruction in English, suitable for exchange students, is given occasionally. The entrance exams for the Bachelor and the Master degree programmes are in Finnish and Swedish. The post-graduate (doctoral) studies can be completed in English.
