Frequently asked questions
Is there a version of GoCore
for the mac or Linux?
At present GoCore is only available for
users of Windows 95 / Office 2000 or better. However, a mac version
compatible with OS/X is soon to be released, and a Linux version can be
developed upon request.
After I installed GoCore,
I can no longer open my other Excel files. Why not?
If you have not yet completed the
registration process (by entering the license key), you will not be able
to double-click on Excel files to open them. This is unavoidable, due to
the way Excel responds to the appearance of the registration reminder.
However, it is still possible to open your Excel files. You need
to first open Excel, cancel the registration reminder and then choose
Open from Excel's File menu. Or, better still, send your
GoCore registration now!
How can I view GoCore's
source code?
First you must register your copy of GoCore.
In return you will be sent a license key and a code key. The code key is
a password that is required to view and/or modify GoCore's source code.
Click on Excel's Tools menu and select the Visual Basic Editor
option from the Macro submenu. The Visual Basic Editor is opened
and in the left pane you should see a list of active workbooks and
add-ins. One of these is GoCore. To view the source code you must expand
the GoCore item by clicking its [+] button. When you attempt this
you will be asked for a password and must enter the code key. Then, all
of GoCore's source code becomes available for you to browse through. |
