Getting Started
To get started with GoCore, you must
first download and install the software. After this,
every time you start Microsoft Excel, the GoCore tools will be included
in Excel's own menus. For example, in the File menu, you will see
additional options, such as New Bioinformatics Workbook and
Save Sequence Alignment. If you do not see these options then GoCore has
not been correctly installed.

To learn more about a particular
topic, click on the topic in the left pane. For example, if this is your first
time using GoCore, click on Sequence
import and annotation to find out how to import protein sequence data into
Excel.
