CONCEPTA

Main menu:

Welcome!

CONCEPTA is an initiative of the History of Political and Social Concepts Group, which organises advanced courses at both MA and PhD levels. These courses offer students and scholars from different fields research training in conceptual analysis. It provides a multidisciplinary meeting place for experienced scholars and young researchers from various backgrounds.

Concepta offers training in those areas of greatest interest to conceptual historians: concepts in ordinary language; concepts used by historical actors; and the concepts of theoretical discourses with which historians and social scientists try to make the past more understandable.
