Fields of Research

Intellectual property (IP) law, EU law, labour law, discrimination law, international trade law

Present Activities (2006-2007)

Besides the post as the Director for the IPR University Centre (see www.iprinfo.com )

I am also leading a graduate school in IP law (INNOCENT) from the beginning of 2007. Furthermore I am involved in the IP activities at the Hanken School of Economics (one of the Member Universities in IPR University Centre), especially the new English Masters program in IP law that commences in 2007.

Two of my present projects focus on the relationship between Academia and research. At an international level we try to map the different models for collaborating between research and industry especially regarding the rights to intellectual property. At a national level I am doing research that can provide some basic thinking for the implementation of the new legislation concerning universities' rights to inventions made by researchers.

I am also taking part in several other international projects in the fields of labour law and intellectual property law. In labour law I am participating in a project led by Professor Bob Hepple (Cambridge) on the making of labour law in Europe after 1945. The Swedish Work Life Institute (Stockholm) is funding a project on temporary agency work and its regulation in Europe where I cooperate with a research group lead by Professor Brian Bercusson (Kings College, London) and director Kerstin Ahlberg, Stockholm. I am also participating in a project lead by professors Mariannne Levin (University of Stockholm) and Annette Kur (Max Planck Institute in Munich) on IPs in transition.

During the academic year 2006-2007 I am teaching both IP-law and labour law within the law faculty in Swedish and English in accordance with the approved teaching schedule.
