The vascular plant flora of Finland includes approximately 1200 indigenous species and archaeophytes. Neophytes, hybrids and apomictic microspecies raise the total number to approximately 3550 taxa.

These pages illustrate typical vascular plants from different habitat types and plant communities in Finland. The emphasis is on common species and/or on species of special interest to foreign students.
