Invitation to Joint Session with IIeP project

Immigrant Inclusion by eParticipation (IIeP) project was launched to enhance social inclusion, participation, equality and greater social cohesion among marginalized groups. As the project is nearing the end, we would like to tell you about the project findings and results.

Therefore the University of Helsinki, Palmenia Centre for Continuing Education is inviting you to the joint session "eParticipation A practical 'how to' session" with stakeholders of IIeP project.

Date: 26.01.2012
Time: 9.00 – 10.30
Place: Fellmannia, room Ars&Cultura (Kirkkokatu 27, Lahti)

The aim of the session is to introduce the new developments in eParticipation (including case studies), good design principles and (technology permitting) a hands on example. The facilitator of the session is highly experienced participation expert Edward Andersson from England. (See his references below)

The working language is English. The participation is free of charge, but please register your participation by 20.01.2012 to Anja Loikkanen (anja.loikkanen@helsinki.fi).

You can distribute the message to any interested parties. If you personally can't participate, you can offer the opportunity to any of your colleagues. Invited are representatives of the authorities, residence (especially with the foreign background) and researchers.
