      The seminar is aimed to everyone interested in the current research of ageing and the commonalities and differences of the practices of elderly care in Japan and Finland.

      New director for Palmenia

        Pirjo Hiidenmaa

        Pirjo Hiidenmaa to begin this autumn as director of the Palmenia Centre for Continuing Education.

        Hiidenmaa has previously worked as director of the University of Helsinki Open University and as a unit director at the Academy of Finland.

            University of Helsinki, Palmenia Centre for Continuing Education in collaboration with Finnish Montessori Training conduct Montessori Instructor training. The aim of the training is to introduce the student to Montessori Pedagogy that is used for children aged 3 – 6.

              The European Quality framework for long-term care services is the final output of the WeDO project. The document is available in 10 languages. A summary  of the Quality framework is also available and translated in 10 languages.
