Welcome to the Orientation Course Sites of Student of the University of Helsinki

The Orientation Course is conducted in English.

The course will provide you a good opportunity to obtain a lot of information, which will help you to make your studies successful and pleasant.

At the Orientation Course you will also meet other international students.

During the Orientation Course you will have a student tutor to help you in various matters.

The Orientation Course includes

  • Orientation sessions
    • Information on practical matters
    • Language courses
    • Necessary supplies for studies
    • Networks, IT and library services
    • Travel,
    • Student services
    • Student organisations etc.
  • Faculty Orientation
    • Studies at the faculty (course registration, exams, degree structure etc.)
    • Facilities at the faculty and it's departments
    • Etc.
  • Tutoring
    • 12 hours of tutor sessions.
