Directors:

The Director of the graduate school, professor Kimmo Nuotio (University of Helsinki) is in charge of the daily operations and the economy of the graduate school. He carries out the programme of the graduate school in accordance with the guidelines set by the management group, and takes care of the graduate school's international cooperation. The Vice-Director of the graduate school, professor Veli-Pekka Viljanen (University of Turku) is responsible for the doctoral students' working conditions and supervising arrangements, and the graduate school's cooperation with employers. Management Group:

The management group guarantees that the operating idea of the graduate school will be realized. The management group selects the doctoral students, determines the policies of the graduate school, and supervises the director and vice-director of the graduate school.
