Recommendations for principles of postgraduate supervision

The University of Helsinki is monitoring postgraduate students’ study progress: Students who were granted the right to pursue postgraduate studies seven years or more ago, but whose postgraduate degree remains uncompleted, will be sampled from the Student Register:

Faculty Council meetings during the academic year 2011-2012 on Tuesdays:
27.9., 18.10., 15.11. and 7.12.2011 (Wed),
24.1., 21.2., 20.3., 24.4. and 22.5.2012

Graduation ceremonies in 2011-2012 take place in Consistory Hall (Fabianinkatu 33, 2nd floor) on Fridays at 13.00 (exceptions mentioned below):
Autumn semester 2011: Wed 31.8., 7.10., Thu 27.10., 25.11., Thu 15.12.2011
Spring semester 2012: 3.2., 2.3., 30.3., 4.5., 8.6.2012
Registration 16 days before the ceremony. Note! Last graduation ceremony of each semester will take place in the Great Hall (Aleksanterinkatu 5).

Faculty organizes also one graduation ceremony during summer, on Thursday 30.8.2012 at 13.00.
