Overview by the Director>
The Neuroscience Center was founded in 2002, and its operation has been based on 5-year periods. In June 15, 2011, the Rector made the decision to continue the operation of the NC without any time limit.
Research at the NC focuses on molecular and cellular mechanisms underlying functions of the nervous system observed at the levels of behavior and neuronal networks.
Teaching at the NC has become established on the key research areas of the Center, and covers molecular and cellular neuroscience, developmental neuroscience, cognitive and systems neuroscience, and basic mechanisms of nervous system disorders.
