The Network for European Studies wishes everyone
a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year 2012!
The purpose of the University of Helsinki Network for European Studies (NES) which was founded in 2002 is to promote and coordinate the study of European issues within all faculties and disciplines of the University of Helsinki. The multidisciplinary orientation of European Studies forms the key starting-point of the Network's activities.
Activities
The Network's activities cover:
- research funding,
- coordination of the undergraduate programme in EU Studies and the Master's Degree Programme in European Studies,
- doctoral school,
- academic seminars and other corresponding activities
- co-ordinates the participation of the University of Helsinki in the Europaeum association of European universities.
