ORGANIZED MEETINGS
- Boat Workshop on TEM and DFT of nanomaterials (31.5.-2.6.2011) The topic of the workshop is "Atomic structure of nanosystems from transmission electron microscopy experiments and first-principles simulations" and it will take place on a ferry on Baltic Sea between Helsinki and Stockholm. Registration will be open until the end of February 2011.
- Towards Reality in Nanoscale Materials '10 TRNM'09 follows the 2007 and 2008 workshops "Towards reality in nanoscale materials". It consists of invited and contributed talks as well as posters and short poster talks. Although the majority of invited and contributed speakers will be from theory, several invited experts will cover recent progress in relevant experimental areas.
- Boat Workshop on TEM and DFT of nanomaterials (18.5.-20.5.2010) This was the First Japanese-Finnish Workshop on Carbon and Boron-Nitride Nanostructures, which concentrated on transmission electron microscopy experiments and first-principles calculations. The workshop was organized on a ferry on Baltic Sea between Helsinki and Stockholm.
- Towards Reality in Nanoscale Materials '09 TRNM'09 follows the 2007 and 2008 workshops "Towards reality in nanoscale materials". It consists of invited and contributed talks as well as posters and short poster talks.
