Structure
The Master´s Degree Programme in Forest Sciences and Business (MScFB, 120 ECTS credits) consists of two major subjects (from August 1, 2011 onwards): Forest Ecology and Management, and Forest Economics and Marketing. The structure of the studies are as follows: general studies (16 ECTS credits), major subject studies (70-74 CTS), other studies (25 ECTS) and elective studies (5-9 ECTS).
Studying in MScFB is based on student's personal study plan. Major subject studies according to the selected study line and the thesis work form the core of the programme.
Within the specialized studies (other studies), students choose between either Science-based specialized studies consisting of theoretical and methodological studies, or Theme-based multidisciplinary studies.
