Majors and minors - Interpreting
In collaboration with language departments Translation Studies offers two study programmes specialised in interpreting for students aiming at an interpreter’s profession. Interpreting I (25 ECTS) includes courses related to the special characteristics, situations and skills of consecutive interpretation. The Interpreting II study block (25 ECTS), which has an entrance examination, focuses on conference and court interpreting. Both blocks include language pair specific exercises, which are organised in connection with the departments of the languages in question.
