Environment and Natural Resources MENVI

Environmental Engineering in Agriculture

Environmental engineering studies interactions between agricultural production and the environment and the methods for measuring and modelling them. Environmental engineering develops production methods and production systems which are both ecological and economical. The theoretical background, practical applications and future development are taught. The objective is improvement of the quality, efficiency and profitability of the production as well as improvement of worker's working conditions and of the environment.

We expect you to have prior knowledge and studies on agricultural science, agricultural technology, or agricultural management, along with understanding of physics, mathematics, chemistry and biology.
