Healt care

The University of Helsinki provides its staff with preventive occupational health services and general medical care. Every employee's occupational health care centre is determined by the place of work. Persons working on grants or stipends are not entitled to occupational health services.
All residents of Helsinki are entitled to municipal health care at local health stations, which are dispersed around the city. Residents are treated at the nearest health station. Espoo, Vantaa and other municipalities have their own health care servises.
