Masterprogrammes

The Faculty of Law at the University of Helsinki is the leading Finnish institute of legal research and education. The mission of the faculty is to educate qualified, ethically responsible legal professionals for both the Finnish and international markets through internationally high quality research and research-based teaching.

The faculty offers an International Master's Degree Programme in International Business Law and Public International Law (MICL). The programme is a two-year full time graduate programme taught fully in English and it is aimed at applicants who have their Bachelor´s degree in law or in related field (see more specifically on "Admissions"). Students select either International Business Law or Public International Law for their specialization. Students admitted to the programme will complete the degree of Master of International and Comparative Law (kansainvälisen ja vertailevan oikeustieteen maisteri in Finnish).

Application period for the intake of autumn 2012 has ended. Application period for the intake of autumn 2013 is from late November 2012 until the end of January 2013. Information about admission requirements and admission procedure of the International Business Law and Public International Law (MICL) for the intake of 2013 will be available on "Admissions" in September 2012.
