Booking of the group work rooms

The library has facilities for group work in different room sizes (for 6-20 people).

You can reserve a room by using the booking system. You can make a reservation if you have a valid user account-id to one of the university’s networks. When logging in to the booking system, use the short form of your user account-id (for example jsmith).

Group work rooms have computers (except room 311) that are managed by the Helsinki University IT Department. You must have a user account in order to use the computer.

Instructions for using the group work rooms

• The work group rooms are strictly for the use of students and staff of Helsinki University.
• The maximum time per reservation is 4 hours.
• The rooms are available during library’s opening hours.
• The rooms are for GROUP use – please don’t make a reservation for one person only.
• In case no members of the group have arrived after 30 minutes from the start of reservation, the reservation will expire.
• If there is no reservation on a room, it can be used temporarily until someone makes a new reservation.
