Library Services - Reading areas at Terkko

Terkko’s main building has several places for reading: a reading room, a periodicals room and other reading spaces in the collections area. Study carrels number approximately 150.

To ensure peace and quiet for study, the reading room and the reading corners on either floor are designated ‘quiet zones’ where conversation is prohibited. Students may use unreserved groupwork rooms as reading areas.

Reading areas on Meilahti Campus

The Haartman Institute (Haartmaninkatu 3) is located across from Terkko and has 20 to 30 peaceful, pleasant study carrels for students.  

There is also a reading room in the learning centre in the lower floor of Terkko. Only Faculty students have access to the learning centre.
