“Mocoma” - Faculty of Medicine Learning Centre

The Faculty of Medicine Meilahti Learning Centre is located in Terkko, Haartmaninkatu 4, on the basement level. The centre has two computer rooms (with some 30 PCs altogether), a reading room, two group work rooms and teaching spaces (a clinical skills centre and an anaesthesiology classroom). The spaces are designed as both study and teaching environments.

Faculty of Medicine students and specialisation students may use the spaces at any time, day or night, by paying a deposit for a personal pass key. The keys may be ordered from porters at the clinical theoretical institute (Haartmaninkatu 3).The learning centre premises are administered by the medical students’ association Lääketieteenkandidaattiseura (LKS).

Computer and group work rooms may also booked for teaching. Bookings are arranged through Terkko customer service, ph. 191 26643.

• Group work room 6 (10 pers.)

Note: TUKE (Research & Development Unit for Medical Education) maintains the clinical skills centre. The clinical skills centre and resuscitation room are located on the basement level and may be booked with the electronic booking form.
