Helsinki University Library offers different information sources into your use; books, journals, reference books, dictionaries and databases.The library acquires literature from the fields represented by the faculties of the UH.
The local collections of the Campus Libraries are catalogued in the HELKA database. In HELKA you can check whether the book is available or is it on loan. In HELKA you can also make subject based searches.

The NELLI portal offers one user interface with most of the e-material available at UH. Licensed have been acquired both for individual e-journals, for full text databases with electronic journals, eBooks, for reference and full text databases and reference books.

Some of the information sources in NELLI are free for anyone and other are licensed. The licensed material can only be accessed through the university network. You can browse all information sources in NELLI but the university staff and students may also use the electronic materials remotely outside the university network. Other customers may use the information sources in the campus library premises.
University researchers, teachers, other personnel and students can access online materials acquired by University of Helsinki libraries remotely.
