New Helsinki University Library
Few years ago Helsinki University Library meant the present National Library of Finland. Not any more because the new Helsinki University Library began operating on 1 January 2010.
The new Helsinki University Library was born when the faculty and science libraries and the Undergraduate Library were united in the beginning of 2010.
The Library comprises the City Centre, Kumpula, Meilahti and Viikki Campus Libraries as well as centralised services (Administration and Development Services, Digital Services, Acquisition and Metadata Services).
Helsinki University Library is Finland’s largest multidisciplinary university library.
