About the Library - history
The science and faculty libraries of the University of Helsinki merged into the Helsinki University Library (HULib) at the beginning of 2010. The Library’s operational sites include the four campus libraries. Additionally, the Library has centralised its administrative and support services. The Helsinki University Library began operations as an independent institute of the University on 1 January 2010.
