Each participant of Logic Colloquium 2003 is entitled to have a user account for the Mikroverkko computers. The account can be obtained at the registration desk of the meeting. Mikroverkko computers are equipped with a modern Windows operating system and access to the Internet. There are dozens of computers located in the Computer Centre at Fabianinkatu 28 (enter first the courtyard through the gate located halfway between the doors marked "26" and "28", then go through the door on your right). There are also eight computers on the ground floor of the Main Building and two on the third floor. Printing can be done in the Computer Centre.
The computers have hostnames ending in .helsinki.fi and IP addresses in the range 128.214.0.0 - 128.214.255.255.
Tutorial, plenary and special session speakers need not make a hotel reservation. Unless notified otherwise, the organizers will book accommodation for them at Cumulus Kaisaniemi, Cumulus Seurahuone or the University Guesthouse. Students and young researchers with accommodation support will be housed by the organizers in Hostel Satakuntatalo.

| Sunday | 17.8 | afternoon | € 35 | Architectural tour of Helsinki followed by a classical music concert of one hour's duration. Participants meet at 15:00 at the statue of Czar Alexander II in Senate Square. A 2 hour tour conducted by professional architects will feature buildings from all stylistic periods. At approximately 17:00 the participants will be transported to "Lallukka", a historic building consisting of publicly funded artist's studios. A snack is offered in the Great Hall of the building, simultaneously with a lecture on the building and some of the art in the Hall. At 5:45 participants make their way to the Rock Church (a 5 minute walk from Lallukka), where the concert begins at 18:00. This concert features the world-renowned Finnish opera singer Jorma Hynninen and takes place in a Helsinki landmark building, the aforementioned "Rock Church" (Lutherinkatu 3), a modern church carved into a small hill of granite. Hynninen will sing songs of Schubert, Vaughan Williams, Merikanto and Sibelius. He is accompanied by the pianist Ilkka Paananen. Tickets for the concert can be purchased at the registration desk separately for 25 euro. For those attending the concert only, the Church is a 20 minute walk from Senate Square, and is also on the 3T line. |
| Monday | 18.8 | 19.00 - 23.30 | € 25 | Banquet in restaurant Walhalla on the island of Suomenlinna. Suomenlinna is in the Helsinki harbor and also a World Heritage Site. The Royal Line boat M/S Natalie will leave at 19.00 from Kauppatori (the Market Square), by the Lybeck pier near the Old Market Hall. Look for balloons with the LC2003 logo printed on them. The fee includes transportation by boat to the island. If you miss the congress boat, you can take an ordinary ferry to the Suomenlinna island and simply walk to Restaurant Walhalla (the next ferries leave at 19.40 and 20.20). |

Liability: The LC 2003 Organizers and Congreszon Ltd act as agent only in securing hotels, transport and travel services and shall in no event be liable for acts or omissions in the event of injury, damage, loss, accident, delay or irregularity of any kind whatsoever during arrangements organised through contractors or the employees of such contractors in carrying out services.
