The Kumpula Science Library is the joint library of the departments of the Kumpula campus area. The function of the library is to promote research and education in the fields represented on campus. The goal of the library is to provide an inspiring working environment for its patrons. The collections contain materials in the fields of physical sciences, geology, chemistry, geography, mathematics and statistics, computer science and seismology. About 140 000 monographs and 4800 periodicals (some in electronic form) can be consulted in the library.
