CICERO VISIT TO SCIL, THE UNIVERSITY OF STANFORDAmerica-Finnish Colloquium 13-14th October, Wallenberg Hall, Stanford CICERO is the multi-scientific research collaborative on research of learning founded by the University of Helsinki, 2005. The strategy of CICERO will be presented to the international audience for the first time in Stanford by Vice-Chancellor Hannele Niemi of the University of Helsinki. CICERO covers research from brain research, educational sciences, learning psychology, cognitive sciences, economics, information technology and media sciences. CICERO is a collaborative grounded by the University of Helsinki, but invites the acknowledged researchers in Finland and globally to join in research co-operation. CICERO:s international network involves/will involve internationally recognised research teams and R & D units in USA, Europe and other places. CICERO:s core is high level research and an outreach to the benefit of formal and non formal education, the wellbeing individual citizens in the learning society and the industry. The Centre of Expertise for Digital Media, Content Production and Learning Services in Finland is developing the business and working life interface for the CICERO Network.
