General information
The elementary level teaching is given and study materials e.g. books are mainly in Finnish. At the more advanced level courses teaching and materials are in the language in question.
The courses offered by the Language Centre are based on the Common European Framework of Reference (A1-C2) and their credits are equivalent to the European Credit Transfer and Accumulation System (ECTS).
The registration for language courses is done online via WebOodi. However, international degree students and exchange students may register personally at our helpdesk during the Orientation course.
Our language courses and tests are graded as PASS or FAIL with the exception of oral and written skills in the Second national language. These skills are assessed separately and marked either Good (B2) or Satisfactory (B1).
