Print, copy, scan

The Helsinki University Library has both multifunction printers and network printers for customer use. The staff will be happy to help you if problems arise.

Printing, copying and scanning with university's user account

The multifunction printers can be used for copying, scanning and printing with the University of Helsinki user account.

When using a multi-function printer for the first time, you will have to register an ID card (can be for example HSL travel card) personally using your own university username and its password, read more detailed instructions here.

Students at University of Helsinki can load balance for the use of the multi-function printers at the Unigrafia's online printing shop.

Copying and printing from the the Library terminals without the user account

If you don't have University of Helsinki user ID, you can print from the library terminals by using Print in City Service.

The library has only few multifunction printers which work with Unigrafia copy cards. These devices are only for copying. The already purchased cardboard printing cards can be used for copying in the Kaisa House and the National Library, and at the Kumpula, Meilahti and Viikki campus libraries until the end of June 2019. Cards will be sold libraries until the end of 2018. Please note that any unused copies on your card will not be reimbursed.

Please notice that colour prints are more expensive than black-and-white prints.
