Self-archiving

Researchers at the University of Helsinki

The University of Helsinki requires researchers affiliated with the University to self-archive their scientific publications in the University’s open access repository HELDA. This can be done in the research information system TUHAT. More information about the Principles of Open Access publishing at UH.

Several research funding providers also require that published articles are self-archived in an open access repository. Researchers at the UH can find more practical information on self-archiving, funding providers' requirements and Open Access in general, in Open Access guide.

The Helsinki University Library offers assistance in using the TUHAT system to researchers at the University of Helsinki and other users of the database via Tuhat-info service.
