Catalysis

Kuva

Current research in the catalyst group can be classified into four main topics: (i) metallocenes and inorganic complexes for olefin polymerization, (ii) metal complex assisted radical and ionic polymerization of polar monomers, (iii) catalytic activation by molecular oxygen and carbon dioxide, and (iv) nanochemistry. In all topics the focus is in the preparation of structurally verified metal compounds, where a ligand framework can tune the function of the metal center.

These pages give a brief overview of the research activities. For more details, please see the latest annual report of the Department of Chemistry or contact the Head of the Laboratory.
