Main building of the University of Helsinki.

Welcome to the website for the COST MOLIM WG1 Meeting 2016, an Action of the organization European Cooperation in Science and Technology (COST).

COST's Molecules in Motion (MOLIM) - Working Group 1 - Energy-Resolved Methods is concerned with nuclear motions in molecules and atomic clusters. It includes both sophisticated theories and experimental methods, including advanced spectroscopy and molecular dynamics, which is unique. Top scientists from more than 20 European countries participate in this Action. Prof. Lauri Halonen (University of Helsinki) is the leader of WG1, and will chair this meeting. Prof. Attila Császár (Eötvös Loránd University, Budapest) will serve as co-chair. We invite experimental and computational/theoretical talks by top scientists and contributed talks by young graduate students from different European countries including Finland.

The conference will be held in Helsinki from the 22nd until the 24th of August, 2016. The venue for the presentations will be in the Helsinki city centre, in the Porthania building of the University of Helsinki. The local organizers are from the Laboratory of Physical Chemistry, University of Helsinki. A task group meeting of WG1 - Energy-Resolved Methods will be held during the conference.

Please bookmark and visit this site often for the program and registration updates.
