Conference venue

The conference will take place in the main building of the University of Helsinki (Yliopiston päärakennus),
Fabianinkatu 33.

The registration opens on Tuesday the 18th August at 9 a.m. at the ground floor and serves also as an information point until Friday afternoon.

The Keynote Lectures – 4th floor
The Keynote Lectures and the Closing Discussion will take place at the Pieni juhlasali ("The Small Hall"), situated on the 4th floor of the main building.

The Workshops – 3rd & 4th floor
The workshops are situated mostly on the 3th floor of the main building, some of them being held on the 4th floor.

The Coffee – 3rd & 4th floor
The coffee is served in the mornings (Wed–Fri) at 9.30 on the 4th floor at the entrance hall of Pieni juhlasali. The afternoon coffee is served on the 3rd floor, on Tuesday at 14.30, on Wednesday and Thursday at 14.00. On the final day, Friday the 21st, there will be wine served on the 4th floor at 14.00.

The Lunch
The participants get meal tickets they can freely use at university's luncheonettes (UniCafe) in the main building and Porthania (Yliopistokatu 3). The nearest UniCafe is situated on the ground floor of the main building. Map of the campus area. 

A Pause?
There are several places in the main building suitable for having a small pause, for example a café and some free tables on the ground floor. There will also be a special room on the 3rd floor, with a bit more quiet atmosphere for using your own laptop or eating your own snacks.
