Some guidelines:
- Do not add attachments to your posts to the mailing list. The list will not forward such mails. Everything you wish to add/type to the mail has to be in raw data. For similar reasons, please avoid excessive use of formatting (e.g. bolding, underlining, etc.) since some of the receivers' mail clients don't support such features.
- Do not type SUB into the subject field or as the first word of the message body. SUB is also a command to the mailing list, and posts with that word will be regarded as operating posts, not regular mailing list posts, and will not be forwarded.
- Remember that the list has many viewers, so keep your messages brief and to the point. Personal communication and correspondence can be handled through other media.
- It would be helpful to have the main topic of your post in the subject field, so that people will immediately know whether to discard the mail or actually read it (e.g. 'Translation job offer' is far more appealing than 'Plz read this, thx!').
- The use of common sense is appreciated.
