Helsingin yliopiston tieteentekijät ry - The Helsinki University Researchers and Teachers Association HUART
HUART is an interest group of people working at the University of Helsinki. As our members we have researchers, lecturers, teachers and postgraduate students, as well as some members working at other academic and administrative posts. HUART is one of the member organizations of FUURT, Finnish Union of University Researchers and Teachers, and as a member of FUURT it also belongs to AKAVA, Confederation of Unions for Professional and Managerial Staff in Finland.
Association was established in 1967 and today HUART represents more than 1000 members thus being the biggest organization at the University of Helsinki for employees who are members of AKAVA.
