MDP in Algorithms and Machine Learning

The programme on Algorithms and Machine Learning is strongly science-based, and it is especially suitable for research-orientated MSc students.  In this programme you are educated in computationally efficient algorithmic techniques needed in processing large volumes of data and and learning from it. The topics of study include machine learning, data mining, probabilistic models, information-theoretic modelling, unsupervised learning, string algorithms, and approximation algorithms. Graduates are employed as technical specialists or scientists - they often continue their studies towards a PhD degree.
