Aims of the project

Students, University of Helsinki

The project is geared for student teachers in Initial Teacher Training (ITT) with the aim to help them learn strategies and methodologies that will support school students to develop their digital, communicative and subject competences of different school subjects. The project intends to provide integral teacher training and to foster an attitudinal change in student teachers’ thinking through ITT. The acquisition of digital, communicative and subject competences and learning are integrated to benefit one another in a symbiotic way and not taught/learnt apart as it is usually done. Thus, digital, communicative and subject competence learning should be worked through every subject area.
