The conference 'Innovations in Higher Education 2000' is being organised by the University of Helsinki, Development of Studies Unit. This conference is designed to emphasise and facilitate dialogue between researchers, university teachers and students. The aim of the conference is to combine recent research on learning and instruction to provide tools for university teachers for their own instruction, and to offer an open forum for discussion on recent challenges and innovations in higher education.
